Welcome to River Edge Resort & Steakhouse, a gathering place on the Clark Fork River in Western Montana.
River Edge is owned by Ron and Kate Rule, local ranchers and business owners who live just down the road at Fish Creek Ranch. Ron and Kate raise premium Angus beef at Fish Creek Ranch, and we’re proud to feature their beef at River Edge when available.
Ron is also the owner of Lotaburger, the New Mexico restaurant famous for its award-winning green chile cheeseburger. River Edge brings that southwest favorite straight to Montana—made with fresh beef, melted cheese, and flame-roasted Hatch green chiles.
But Ron’s vision for River Edge has always been about more than just the food.
His goal is simple: to create a welcoming place where people can enjoy good food, good company, and time on the river—and want to keep coming back. That might mean meeting friends for a burger or a steak, listening to live music in the courtyard, enjoying a drink by the water, or staying for a few days at our motel or RV park.
River Edge isn’t intended to be formal or complicated. It’s a place to relax, enjoy the river, connect with the people you’re with, and have some fun.
